Setting Up Printers in the Windows Version
of the MicroBiz Business Controller

This routine sets up different printers for the various forms and reports within MicroBiz.

  1. Make sure that you have the printers installed and working in Microsoft Windows95/98. Print a Test Page to ensure it is correct.
  2. Enter the MicroBiz Business Controller System and go to Management, then Customize and Hardware Settings.
  3. Select and click on the Printers tab at the top.
  4. Click on the "Browse" Button next to the printer for the type of form that you wish to set up. This will bring up a "Printers" Window. Use the drop down to select your printer type.
  5. Click on OK.
  6. Click on the "Browse DOS Printers" Button.
    - Select the "DOS Printer Name" that matches the closest to your printer.
  7. Click on the "Load" Button. Then click on the "OK/Save" Button. Finally, click on the "Save" Button.
    - The above routine will properly set up your printer(s) to work within the MicroBiz Business Controller. Please be aware that all printers are not compatible with the Business Controller.
