Programming the AM3000 with RS232 Serial Interface

A. Press [ON}

B. Press [EXIT] to set the program in the AM3000 back to “Portable Mode Select Function” on the display.

C. Press [PROG] over the letter F key on the keypad.

D. “Enter Password” appears on the display.

E. Enter M3000P [ENTER].

F. “Edit Program * New Program *” is now displayed.

G. Press the DOWN ARROW key until the display shows Pgm P2.

H. Press [ENTER]

I. If the program asks for a program name enter what you like, and press [ENTER]

J. You have now entered the Program, Pgm P2 within the AM3000 what follow s are what the entries should read. If any don’t match or are missing, you must enter the proper information that follows.

K. Continue to press the [ENTER] key to proceed through the program.

Programming the AM3000 with Keyboard Wedge.

A. Turn on PC with AM3000 connected through keyboard wedge cable.

B. Display on AM3000 will read “Keyboard Wedge”

C. Press [Function]….display shows “Select Function”

D. Press [Prog]. Display shows “Enter Password”.

E. Enter M3000P [ENTER]. Display shows “Edit Program New Program”.

F. Press down arrow until display shows Pgm P2 and press [ENTER}

G. If the program asks for a program name enter what you like, and press {ENTER]

L. You have now entered the Program, Pgm P2 within the AM3000. What follows is what the entries should read. If any don’t match or are missing, you must enter the proper information that follows.

M. Continue to press the [ENTER] key to proceed through the program.
