Using Colorado Tape Backup in MicroBiz

To automate your back-ups to a Colorado Memory Systems Tape Drive using Colorado's Jumbo for DOS, enter the following information below (replace progname with the directory of your program, for example Dry Cleaner is \Cleaner):

COPY CON \BUSINESS\1\MBZBACK.BAT
TAPE BACKUP C:\progname\*.DBF /-A/S/C/J/T="MicroBiz"
^Z (press the F6 function key, then hit enter)

The above procedure will allow your MicroBiz program to backup to tape automatically when ANY of the backup options are selected.

The tape options used are as follows:

/-A Erases Tape Prior to Backup

/S Includes all sub-directories

/C Compares all files backed up from disk to tape

/J Activates Data Compression

/T Tape Volume Title
