Printing Bar codes in Video 2000
In printing Bar codes from the MicroBiz Video 2000 program there are a few requirements to follow.
These requirements include hardware as well as software.
NOTE
Cognitive Blaster Printers and Label Works will not work in conjunction with the Video 2000 Program.
The proper printer to use is the Eltron 2022 Barcode printer.
And/Or a third party DOS application called OmniBar - available via special order through MicroBiz.
NOTE
To print bar codes from the Video 2000 program there is a trigger file that must be activated, EIILABEL.MBZ, in the VIDEO\1 subdirectory.
At the DOS prompt...
C:\ (type) CD\VIDEO\1 [Enter]
C:\VIDEO\1> (type) EDIT EIILABEL.MBZ [Enter]
This will bring you to a Blue EDIT screen with a blinking cursor
(type) EIILABEL [Alt]+F will bring you to File scroll to Exit (this will prompt you to Save, Click Yes
C:\Video\1> (type) EXIT
Run the Video 2000 program; at the Main Menu enter MANAGEMENT/MISC. FUNCTIONS/BARCODE printing
This will allow you to print the necessary bar codes.
