When the program reindexes the files, it will refresh the Free Tape counter. (2) Receive a Run Error when trying to change the date. This error is ONLY visible in the 3.2 Version with a 03-02-1993 exe. This problem can be fixed by purchasing Video Store Controller 3.2R. The cost is only the shipping and handling if you have 3.2. (3) Installing Bar Tender: Make sure when you install the program that it is installed to the C:\Video|1>. Bar Tender will ask for a directory to install and this is what you will specify: C:\Video|1. (4) Pricing Schedule: When setting up a pricing schedule you must know the hierarchy from lowest to highest (1-4 low to high): (5) STANDARD PRICING CHART: All tapes in your inventory with prices that never change. Your 6 month old movies and older that are not in a special pricing category. (6) TYPE CODE: This chart is to contain two different categories like Video Game rental. This feature can be used by giving two separate categories individual prices. When in the Add/Edit Tape field, go to the section (Type Code); then put in the two characters you have assigned in the Standard Pricing Chart (Under Customize). This will override the previous chart, the standard pricing chart. (7) PRICE CODE: This chart will contain one of four fields that you assign in the Standard Pricing Chart. This chart has been specifically designed for tapes that are always going to be the same price. Example, Adult section or Children's section. This setup will also override the standard pricing chart. (8) RENT OVERRIDE: This setup is the most powerful. If any price is entered into this section (located in the Add/Edit Tape field) that price will be charged, with no exceptions.
