Easy Install Bar Tender
Bar Tender is a outside program by Seagull Scientific Systems that MicroBiz utilizes
for the printing of bar code labels. When you are trying to install the Bar Tender program
there are a few things that you must check, in order to run the program correctly. These
steps will help you run the program more accurately, with less of a chance of having
problems.
Steps to take:
- When installing the program make sure you keep the manual in a safe place, incase you have to get some information from it.
- The program must be loaded into the sub directory of the MBZ program (\1).

Make sure that you also copy the following file in the sub directory.
A) CLATEST.BT - located on the MicroBiz Barcode Supplement Disk.
- This file is used to control the actual label layout.
- ALWAYS KEEP A COPY OF THIS FILE AT THE SITE.
- When barcode labels are generated a file is created called BCR.DAT containing what is to be printed through the Bar Tender program.

After you have performed the following steps and are ready to print your barcode labels, you must take note of the following.
A) Bar Tender will printout the number of labels that the program has for quantity in stock (it can not be altered by MicroBiz.)
B) If you have any questions on why they can't be printed one by one, you must contact Seagull Scientific Systems.
