Technical Support Terms and Conditions

Your MicroBiz system has been designed and tested to run like a champ! However, there are times when you may need technical assistance or maybe you just need to ask a few questions. Technical Support contracts are available to ensure you are ready to face any obstacles that might come your way. You never know when you might need assistance - be prepared with a technical support contract. A contract also entitles you to regular upgrades for your program! Please call 1-800-937-2289 to discuss options in detail and purchase a support contract. Some highlights of a support contract include:

  • The latest software updates for your MicroBiz program, downloadable from our website (CD's available upon request - shipping charges apply).
  • Telephone support for MicroBiz sold and supported hardware and software. Technical support hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. PST, except holidays.
  • 10% discount off list price for training, preventative maintenance, and on-site services.
  • The agreement is for a minimum of one year, at a rate of $225 per quarter.
  • MicroBiz will charge your credit card quarterly. Monthly payment at $75 per month or annual payment in advance is available - call for more details.
  • The agreement continues beyond the first year until either party provides the other with a 90-day notice of termination in writing.
  • You must be on a currently supported version of your MicroBiz program to be eligible for a technical support contract.

We understand your time is valuable. Therefore, you will not get a voicemail box when you call during regular support hours - our technical support team responds real-time to your calls! This also means that to ensure the highest availability of technicians at all times, we cannot regularly schedule specific appointments. If there is a special circumstance that requires a pre-set appointment, please call at least 48 hours in advance to determine if an appointment may be feasible.

Remote support techniques are available. This allows a technician to remotely access your computer via modem or TCP/IP to assist you! Symantec PcAnywhere software is recommended and sold by MicroBiz for this purpose. The PcAnywhere software, plus a supported 56K modem and dedicated phone line connection (for dial-up), or a pre-existing Internet connection that allows incoming connections (TCP/IP) are required for remote support.

Your technical support team is committed to your needs. Every reasonable effort will be made to diagnose and resolve problems and provide technical assistance for supported software and hardware. There is no guarantee that we will be able to solve the reported issue. Some issues may not be resolvable during a single phone call, and will require further research and investigation, at which point we may request to follow-up with you at a later time.

Training and/or installation time is not included in your support contract. This type of assistance is pre-scheduled and may be purchased separately by calling 1-800-937-2289. Please allow at least one week lead-time to schedule training and/or installation assistance.
