New Features
New Improvements in Version 7.5
- When you edit the line item of a Purchase Order via F6 and then you click on one of the arrow keys to move to a different line, the Quantity field will now have the focus, instead of the Description field
- Cost editing at F6 is now controlled separately depending on whether the item is an F10 (Blank Line) or an F3 (Inventory) item. F10 Item is now only controlled by the setting "7. Get Item Cost on Blank Line Sale? " F3 Item is now only controlled by the setting: "M. Allow Edit of Cost at F6 for Inventory Items?"
- Added Avery 5160 format (1" x 2-5/8" x 3) mailing label.
- In Customize | Other Settings, there is now an option to automatically activate the Daily pad from the main menu at program startup.
- While a credit card is processing, show relevant information on thermometer form.
- When you add a new matrix SKU via F10 from a Purchase Order, don't allow user to change Qty On Hand or Committed, so that inventory won't be doubled.
- Don't make user have to press Enter key to dismiss informative "Matrix Qty adjusted" message after adjusting matrix quantities.
- If you press F9 from Receive Miscellaneous PO and then click on the Cancel button, return user to PO edit form instead of clearing the PO.
- When you export barcode labels to Bartender or LabelWorks, the fields are now identical for matrix and non-matrix items, and PFIELD1 and PFIELD2 are now exported.
- When importing row and column headers from one matrix SKU to another, inform user if import was unsuccessful, for example if the matrix SKU whose headers are being imported itself does not have any rows or columns defined.
- Don't change filter when coming from Matrix Row/Column import.
- NEWHIST SCX/T - Customer History. Invoice Number "ACCT" should now show only those belonging to the customer currently loaded.
- Added in pulldown "ALT+F2" short-cut key to Charged Purchases
- Widen pulldown menu to completely show command descriptions.
- Program should not now check for committed QTY when the item is a service item.
- In the Customer List, the filters apparently didn't always work as expected. They should now. The ZIP Code, How Heard and Class columns should also be clearly visible.
- In Tools | Barcode Printing option #8, Range of SKUs, there used to be a limitation of 11 characters for the SKUs entered. You can now enter as many characters as there are in the PRODUCT.SKU field, which is presently 16.
- In the G/L Merge list of exports, the description for MYOB was changed to "MYOB Versions 6 through 9."
- Expanded the department code for products from 3 characters to 6.
- In both the standard and flexible product edits, the caption for the checkbox "Sold in Bulk" was changed to "Sold by Weight"
- The Reindex / Clean & Pack wasn't removing deleted records. Now it does.
- The American Greetings Import will now work with *.DAT text files.
- QTD and YTD should now be updated with Layaway and IIP deposits at F9.
- Deleted plates can now be re-entered
- Plus many other new enhancements, including expanded reporting features and options.
