COMIX Error - 1003 Variable does not exist

The program is unable to find a particular field in a database, or a particular memory variable. Write down what is shown on the screen. The current Alias will tell you which file is needed.

Possible causes -

Intermittant problem - occasionally you "lose" the cust.dbf. If you check the system and see that the CUST.DBF is actually there, but still get the message, you probably have an intermittant network problem - perhaps caused by periodic cable failure. Or a power problem.

Can also be caused by having an insufficient number of file handles available. Be sure that the file setting has not changed. If you have recently installed other software, it may have changed the setting. Or, if you are running other software, the number may have to be increased. See the CONFIG.SYS file.

If the problem continues, contact MicroBiz technical support or your reseller.
